Alternate to the Gym

Going to work out can sometimes be difficult.  You have to find the motivation to go, make sure they’re open, and that you practice social distancing.  It’s hard enough to find the time and energy, wouldn’t it be nice to have a place you could exercise whenever you wanted?  Well, let us tell you some of the benefits of making your own gym in one of our storage units.

Alternate to the Gym

Advantages of Storage Unit Gym

Safety

When you are working out in a storage unit you don’t have to think about who was working out on that machine or using those weights before you.  There is no worry about germs or cleanliness.  It’s your space and no one else can mess it up.  Not to mention also your personal safety, with monitored gate access and surveillance in and out of each one of our properties.

Your Schedule

Workout when you want.  The freedom of coming to exercise anytime you want and staying as long as you want without having to worry about what time it opens or how long you have been on a machine.

Cost

Gym membership can be expensive and a lot of times they have you paying for services you don’t even use.  In a storage unit you can save money based upon what size unit you need, and it frees up some money to buy your own equipment that you don’t have to share.

Your Space

A lot of times it can be nerve racking to walk into a gym with all the people that have the six pack abs or look like they could run a marathon and not break a sweat.  By having your own space, you can focus on your goals and not be distracted by other people or self-conscious about someone judging you.

More room at Home

Most of us have a couple yoga mats or free weights at home in case we aren’t free when the gym is open or if we took advantage of a sale or a friend getting rid of some equipment.  By having a storage unit gym, you would have a place to put your Stability ball or Weight Bench and get it out of that spare bedroom or garage freeing up that space in your house.
